  • The HL type pump is a vertical single-stage guide vane mixed flow pump. This pump is an improved product launched by our company based on domestic and foreign pump manufacturing technology. Compared with the old product, it has the characteristics of high efficiency, large flow rate, good cavitation performance, and reliable operation.

  • The HL series mixed flow pumps are all vertical structures, and the HLB type pump blades are semi adjustable. When the blade angle needs to be adjusted, the blade fastening screws can be loosened, the blades can be rotated to the desired angle, and the blade placement angles can be consistent. Then, the screws can be tightened to achieve the purpose of changing the operating conditions.

  • When a large pump is equipped with a large vertical motor, the motor is directly installed on the motor foundation beam, and the motor shaft is connected to the water pump shaft coupling with hinged holes and bolts. The axial force of the water pump operation is also borne by the thrust bearing in the large vertical motor.

  • The outlet channel of a pump generally adopts a straight pipe outlet, which is connected to a water tapping valve after passing through a diffusion pipe. Large pumps can also use a siphon outlet channel, equipped with a vacuum breaking valve to cut off the flow.

Explanation of General Structural Terminology

  • Closed structure: The motor base is directly installed on the motor beam, and the water pump components must be lifted in from a separate lifting hole.

  • Open structure: The motor base is installed on the motor base plate, and during installation and maintenance, the motor base plate can be removed to lift out the water pump components.

  • Fixed blade impeller: The impeller is made up of blades and blade hub as a whole, and the blade placement angle is fixed and unchanged. The performance parameters of the pump are also fixed and unchanged.

  • Half adjustable blade impeller: The impeller is usually assembled and combined with blades, and the blade placement angle is determined by the positioning pin combined with it according to the required placement angle. When adjusting the placement angle, the pump must be disassembled or the rotor components must be extracted.

  • Fully adjustable blade impeller: Through a set of adjustment mechanisms (hydraulic, mechanical, connecting rod), the blade placement angle can be infinitely adjusted manually, electrically, or remotely controlled by a microcomputer during pump operation.

  • Axial thrust of pump: The downward axial force generated by the hydraulic factors of the pump itself, the self weight of the rotor, and the weight of water inside the pump during operation.
